Singing for Jamaica

Folks were invited to a benefit concert featuring internationally acclaimed singer Steve Higgins, as part of our Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts. Steve Higgins, in collaboration with JFH, presented ‘Singing for Jamaica’ Hurricane Melissa Relief Effort concert that took place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Bethel’s Place Empowerment Center. This inspiring event aimed to uplift our community, while supporting Food For The Poor and the Jamaica Foundation of Houston Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund. The generosity of over 100 persons in attendance lifted lives, with a donations to Food for the Poor and the Jamaica Foundation of Houston Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund.
